Aftermath

Jake and his ally, James Chrysler was attacked by Sasha Selenta and Blair Abbergaine during the feast. James killed Blair, which left Jake and Sasha in a fight. Jake asked James for help, but James couldn't make himself kill his district partner, and Sasha killed Jake, while James just stood there with eyes closed. James probably felt terrible from letting his ally die, and probably felt even worse when Sasha didn't want to ally with him, meaning Jake died in vain.

Jake had the opportunity to be revived for the Vengeance Games, but didn’t receive enough votes from the Capitol citizens. He was burned to death with the other tributes that hadn’t made the cut to the Vengeance Games.
